And God Blessed Them

And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

(Genesis 1:28 ESV)

God having finished his work of creation blessed it. He commanded them to be fruitful, to multiply and fill the earth. God not only created man and provided for their every need, but blessed them with the ability to reproduce and to subdue the creation God had given man. God blessed his creation and he has blessed you and I. He has given you talents, gifts, and abilities to give. He has blessed you so that you may also be a blessing. What has God blessed you with and are you using those blessings to bless others?

God has created you for a purpose and for this time. Are you doing what God has called you to do? Do you have sin that you have let creep in that is keeping you from being all that God created you to be? Will you confess and forsake those sins and move on to a life of faith, trust, and hope living to be a blessing to others?  You have been blessed by God! Whom will you bless today?
